Dr. Phillips and his staff are wonderful - so very caring and dedicated to their patients. My husband and I appreciate how thorough Dr. Phillips is, particularly with regard to our individual health needs. We recommend Dr. Phillips and his staff to everyone we know!
Dr. Czonka is an outstanding Optometrist! Personable, knowledgeable, and transparent with information about your concerns. Honestly, the best doctor I have even associated with in my life. Keep up the great work!
I want to state up front that if this review was only about Dr. Phillips himself, I would give him 4.8 stars. (Not five because he didn't offer to let me wash my hands before I took my contacts out for the eye exam. I suppose I could have asked to wash my hands and I'm sure he would have been lovely about it, but I'm shy.) He was very kind, quick, and thorough.
Flexible appointment schedule that start on time. Dr. Csonka is very thorough and has a friendly manner. He's also a big Eagles fan! Office staff are attentive and knowledgeable.
And, if this review was only about the receptionist with whom I spoke on the phone (Deb?), I would give her five stars, through and through. She was helpful and knowledgeable and helped me figure out the ins and outs of my vision coverage.
The real reason this is a four and not a five is because facility itself was a bit of a mess and the receptionist who "greeted" me when I walked in was rude. The chairs all had what looked like dog hair on them and there were newspapers strewn all around. It wasn't busy, so I didn't see why someone hadn't taken some initiative and straightened the place up a little. Also, the person who took my payment was unfriendly and reluctant to give me prescription information. I would go back because of Dr. Phillips and the nice receptionist whose name I wish I remembered.
The equipment is pretty state of the art. It's a shame insurance will not cover the eye scan. However, this does not prevent me from getting it done. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My youngest son has amblyopia and they have been quite helpful getting him the right prescription.
