My children and I love going to this library! Staff is always friendly and helpful. The kids sections has so much to do and keep them entertained! Plus They have a lot of great programs for kids and adults.
- as a college student, I rather do my research in other places, college library, and prefer the bookstore atmosphere with coffee shops and crowd of my age range but as an au-pair sitting elementary school kids in the area, this is a neat place that offers a decent one shop for all
- has ADA accessibility (most common built elements)
The reason I gave this many stars:
The Staff there really represent what awesome customer service should look like! Knowledgeable, Genuinely Kind and Helpful, they go over and above to answer a question and find out information, without me feeling like I'm being a nuisance!! It's kindness Like that which makes we want to ONLY go to the Warminster Branch!!! Amazing staff!
- bathrooms could use some updating; please note this is a very old building
The library is decent; it does what it is supposed to do. It has books and places to read them.
- the library often has events going on: silent auction, book sale, seasonal sale, etc. It’s neat but they don’t have a segregated space built for that and it can get annoying, cluttered
- plenty of parking some times & weekdays; rainy days or cold days it will overflow onto school nearby
The library is an okay place to go when you need quiet time or even finish work. I wouldn't say its a bad place. The staff members are really nice! But the library isn't a 5 star place to go, because There are always nasty kids who stay disgusting/rude things to people outside of the library on library grounds where the pick nick tables are. They're bullies. They need to be removed from library grounds for bullying reasons. This happens every day after school hours. Oh and There needs to be cameras out side of the library. Other then that the library is okay.. I rate 3 stars
- the generation that mostly uses this library is from 2-15 y.o. and the retired community (50+); occasionally you will see stay-at-home moms or school off-day dads playing on their cellphones while the little ones are just... around...
- lots of books but could use more copies of famous ones; lots of times they have only one copy and have to wait to be returned
*I hope you visit but mind your space and voices*
- because it’s near an elementary, middle, and high school, there are lots of kids; beware, it can get noisy and crowded; and often I wouldn’t approve some of the language the older ones (specially young teenaged girls) use in front of younger kids; they use it as a hangout spot to chitchat and gossip
- neat kids section but it’s not separated, closed off, or soundproofed and with high ceilings, noises carry off throughout the building; I highly suggest headphones
- the staff is friendly and helpful but lots of times there is less than a handful and have to wait to be served
- nice reading section and desks but they could use more and some are uncomfortable
“Shh, it’s a library!”
- computers are outdated but do the job
Nice library with a great children's area and staff that was very friendly and welcoming.
