Been going to Dick and Rip's for years. Began getting unhappy over the last two years. Most recent, and final disaster was for brakes. Paid for resurfacing rotors and pads. The brakes have been screeching since we left Dick & Rips... Fast forward two months to inspection... went to another shop. ROTORS WERE NEVER RESURFACED AND LOOK DISGUSTING. They are rusted, peeling apart, chipped etc. Brake pads were the cheapest brand you can find, and had more lube on them than the mechanic has ever seen (he thinks to prevent so much noise?). Save your time and money, look elsewhere.

Time for an update. I have used this place for only 3 years, but have ALWAYS found their service trustworthy and fairly priced. They give me no nonsense advice on what my SUV needs or can do without. Never pushy, Chuck and Pete always have the customer's interest in mind. Their work and the parts they use are high quality. They take appointments, will drive you home if your car repair will take awhile, and have never displayed a bad attitude.

FRAUD, DO NOT COME HERE ! We took our truck there for service a few times and the last time we asked for full 4x4 maintenance and inspection. They said everything looked good and charged us $1,000 only to find that they did nothing to the truck, did not even change the oil as they were supposed to as the oil was still dirty black after the service. There was a bad corrosion problem underneath and they didn't tell us, they said everything looked fine and when confronted, the manager said he made a judgment call to not let us know to save us money and he thought it would still last for a few more years and we knew for a fact that it won't. We ended up having to take it back to the Chevy dealer and they re-did everything and only charged us $700. Customer beware !! If you have done business with this place, re-check your stuff ! They are a BIG RIP-OFF !!
